Since the wedding was planned in an unfriendly year of 2020…
…we had to be quite flexible organization wise. It was wonderful to work with Alma as she is extremely practical, reliable and full of ideas no matter the circumstances in which she finds herself in.
The whole design package she prepared was breath-taking, starting with the pre-wedding party with my girlfriends, where we celebrated our friendship, laughed at funny moments from school and looked forward to the future. The book of memories she designed is priceless. The most beautiful tribute to friendship you could ever wish for. In one word, the party was cinematic. And so was the wedding!
The silk-screened invitations we designed are still the main decoration at our wedding guests’ fridges, even though it’s been more than half a year since the day.

Bachelorette committee decided to have a two day party.
Our Katarina was not only getting married but she also turned thirty on the next day after the wedding, so the hen/pre-birthday party was to feast and drink, give gifts of incredible meaning and pour our love and creativity into all of them.
We gave lingerie, lemon tree, pearl earnings and THE ALBUM.
I designed the cover and chose the mustard velvet cover, which is Kati’s favorite colour. Each of the seventeen girls commemorated a spread to their friendship with Kati. The design was all in official visual of the party and the ferns were a golden thread to the visual of the wedding. I think there were some tears, but I can’t be sure…

And as you can see from the colorful settings above I helped re-design some classical hen party quizzes.
T H E I N V I T A T I O N — S
1st invitation design started with watercolour illustration of various ferns and flowers, and then edited to fit silkscreen parameters.
To wrap the unique mini art invitations up, we used vellum envelopes and gold round stickers.
Invitations were printed in silkscreen technique by Urška Alič and hand assembled by us.
The first version of invitations went out in good faith and hope to have the wedding despite the raging pandemic,
but the wedding couldn’t happen on the first chosen date. So we planned on … and in the summer things loosened up!
2nd invitation design is the same watercolour illustration of various ferns and flowers.
And since it was a second-time-around invitation it stayed in digital form and was sent by e-mail.
And the wedding happened and nobody got sick, YAY!

Bachelorette committee also organised everything bride & groom related, we helped design and assemble party favours and non-rice throwing cones.
Small ceramic box was designed and molded by MYU ceramics, with insignia by yours truly. Pyramid gift box was designed by Maja Mihajlović and also hand painted by me.

And finally Bachelorette committee also decorated and prepared the dance floor. Flowers and bouquet were arranged by Tomi Krnač and the welcome board was carried by my dad and designed by me.
